When you create an account on GigHunter, we collect your name, email address, and profile photo (if provided). If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture directly from Google. We also collect content you create, such as job listings and messages.

We use your information to operate and improve the GigHunter platform. This includes displaying your profile, enabling messaging between users, and sending account-related communications. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Cookies & Session Data
GigHunter uses cookies to maintain your login session. We use minimal cookies required to keep you logged in securely. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but this may prevent some features from working.
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely in our database. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt and are never stored in plain text. We take reasonable precautions to protect your information from unauthorized access.

GigHunter uses Google OAuth for authentication. By signing in with Google, you agree to Google's Privacy Policy. We do not share your personal data with any other third-party services.
